“From the very first note it was just perfectly in sync with one another, then I turn around and see how you perform and it is very dynamic and you guys are so confident...” –Adam Levine

With musical influences from Dolly Parton to the Pistol Annies, Alaska and Madi are bringing back what has been missing from country music. Their tight harmonies give them a sister like blend. Many have called them the “modern day Judds”. When asked what genre they sing they always answer Country and Western. A little bit of today’s country mixed with classic country and a red dirt country feel. They give a high-intensity performance with compact, beautiful harmonies.

“When I hear you guys sing, the only thing I can compare it to – not because it sounds like it but because it has the same magic – is the Pistol Annies” –Blake Shelton

In March of 2014 Alaska and Madi made their debut on national television on The Voice – Season 6. Their blind audition turned the chairs of Maroon 5 Adam Levine and fellow Oklahoman Blake Shelton. They chose Team Blake and were mentored by The Band Perry.

Since their journey on The Voice, Alaska and Madi have been busy performing, writing new music and recording. In January of 2015 they released their first CD and are currently in the recording studio working on their second CD.

In the past year, the duo has performed from California to North Carolina. Their performances range from a simple acoustic set to full band. They have performed for festivals, casinos, charities, corporate events and private parties. Alaska and Madi have had the honor of sharing the stage with Oklahoma greats Roy Clark, Vince Gill, Kristen Chenoweth, Jana Jae, and the Tulsa Playboys. They also have the honor of being managed by the impresario, Jim Halsey. They are proud to be ambassadors for the I’ll Fly Away Foundation, improving children’s lives through music.

Alaska and Madi, both 20, are two girls from Oklahoma living out their dreams singing country music. They are best friends who met 8 years ago when they each joined a singing group called Oklahoma Kids. And they have been singing together ever since! The girls split their time between Nashville and Oklahoma. Alaska and Madi love travelling and meeting their many fans as they press on with their dreams!
